Working with the crew at Man Over Machine has been an amazing experience. They’ve done a great job at bringing our vision to life, offering constructive feedback from their years of experience, and their attention to detail has made us feel comfortable throughout each project.
Prost & Riot
The guys at PROST & RIOT reached out to me looking for a brand for their new restaurant. They were opening a german style restuarant, but didn’t want the traditional “German guy holding a beer” look. We worked together to come up with a new brand that different, but also recognized the german look.
Initially we looked at german deconstructivism, breaking apart the elements of traditional german design and came found that this could be fun, but was just not the right look. Influenced by the Berlin Wall and the 80’s german style of the time, we took a different approach. What if the brand took elements of that time, the 80’s german punk, the Berlin Wall, etc.
What we wound up with is a brand that tells a story? The story of overcoming oppression, victory over evil, and a celebration. The elements of the brand do just that.
